Yesterday I had the pleasure of going "tubing" with my wife and oldest daughter. It was a church activity for "Club 56" (fifth and sixth graders). Our group consisted of 10 adults and 7 youth (that's a mix that I can handle). The trip was down the Dan river in Rockingham county North Carolina. If I've ever been to that part of the state I was either just passing through or was too young to remember. We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip and the three hours of pure relaxation going down the river. What's best is that we created memories and a great time for seven children.....and 10 slightly older folks who got a chance to act like children again. I hightly recommend getting the the "Cadillac" tube if you're an adult so you have something to rest your head on as you float down the river.
